What this workshop is all about:
The Foundations workshop is the first in our series of Only The Goodness workshops. It’s tailored for anyone who is getting started in their wedding photography career. Whether you've never shot a wedding before or you have a handful under your belt, Foundations is designed to help you get serious about your business. The truth is, getting established in the wedding industry seems daunting, up against hundreds of other people trying to get in the game. This workshop dives deep into the key foundations of setting up your business so you will stand out in this increasingly saturated industry. It will cover some basic business goodness like strategy, advertising and workflow and it will drive you to develop a strong brand through curation, consistency and confidence. The day also includes a live engagement style shoot where we will work with our couple alongside you to create some awesome portfolio images and develop your shooting practice.

What the day includes:
4 Hours of teaching and one on one time
1.5 Hour Photo Shoot

The morning is jammed packed full of information goodness. James and Cam will cover the key aspects of setting up a wedding photography business including: establishing a strong brand, creating a tight business and efficient workflow, website strategy, social media, advertising, seo, client meeting, pricing, contracts, gear and much much more.
We will also cover key aspects of your photography workflow including: shooting basics, creating blogs, and curating your portfolio.
There will be time throughout to work with you one on one to answer questions, look at your websites and discuss your wedding photography business.
You will also take part in a live engagement style photoshoot. We will have a real couple and some cool locations scouted out. Build your portfolio so your website has amazing images to attract the perfect clients.
Learn the basics from James and Cam as you watch how they work with light and work with their couples to capture natural moments.

Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for photographers who shoot weddings regularly or who have some coming up and are looking to up their skills. Basic camera knowledge is assumed.
How do I register?

Is the payment refundable?
No, but, if you can't make it you may transfer your ticket to another photographer.

Can I use the images from the photoshoot on my website/facebook?
Of course, this is an opportunity to create some epic images to use in your portfolio.
What should I bring?
Your camera and lenses and a pen and paper (for notes). That's all. We will have some camera gear available for you to test and try during the photoshoot.
