If you haven’t worked this out already, we love mountains and we're always on the hunt for the next epic location. So when Asher and Libby asked if I would be up for a hike to the top of The Pinnacles for their engagement shoot it was an easy yes!

Late one afternoon we drove down from Auckland and scampered our way through the bush whilst dodging pockets of rain on our way up. We found ourselves standing on the summit of a mountain in what was one of the strongest winds I’ve ever experienced. We quickly shot a round of images and had to run for shelter after only a couple minutes on the summit. We ran down, had a little dance party on the track, put our headlamps on and scampered back down in the dark while dodging wild boars and a trail of mud. What a day!

These two are one of the most lovely and genuine couples you’ll meet. Asher and Libby, you are the raddest, let’s do this again soon!
